![]() ![]() This half of the movie drags at certain places but we tend to ignore the shortcomings in the narrative because of a very tight screenplay by Rajamouli. The second half is about how two good friends turn into foes, the backstory of Ram Raju where we have an extended cameo by Ajay Devgn and we see Alia Bhatt as Seeta is weaved into the narrative of the story which is a turning point in the movie. The first half has its own charms like the light bubbling comedy in the budding romance between Bheem and the Governor’s niece, the thunderous dancing in the song Nacho Nacho and a superb plot twist before interval that sets the audience appetite for more action, dance and dhamaal. Ram and Bheem cross paths each being unaware of the other’s individual pursuits and become very close friends. NTR Jr’s Bheem is Water, an innocent but a strong Gond Tribal who comes from Adilabad forest to Delhi to rescue a young girl Malli who is taken away from her family by the Governor’s vicious wife to Delhi to be her mantle’s songbird. The first part of the movie sets up the premise of the story where Rama Raju is depicted as Fire, an upright police officer in 1920’s Delhi working for the British who would do anything to gain position as a Special Officer as in the beginning it’s shown that even doing his best for the British, he is looked down by his superiors because of his brown colour. Vijayendra Prasad and is a fictional emotional roller coaster about the lives of revolutionaries Sita Rama Raju and Bheem. Danayya of DVV Entertainment had a theatrical release on 25th March 2022.
